Hide the card in the palm of your hand
Transfer the card that you want to hide in your palm to the top of the deck (by volt or otherwise). Take the deck, speck up, in your left hand, covering it with your right.

With your left thumb, push the top card out until it protrudes 2 cm from the edge of the deck. With the ring finger of the left hand, which is now directly under the card, slide it into the right hand, which should be half open above it.

You should not show that you want to hold the card, which is now folded in your palm. On the contrary, you need to either carelessly lower your hand to the side, or hold the deck between the thumb and the rest of the fingers of the same hand (Fig. 15) and offer to shuffle it.

This will give you an opportunity, often quite valuable, to notice which card it is. If you need to put a card back into the deck, then a simple movement when you take the deck in your right hand from your left hand or from the table will allow you to do this in the most natural way. If the card remains crooked due to its bent position in the hand, then you can straighten it quickly by making the cards jump as described in the next paragraph. If the magician has a large hand, then a full deck of cards can be easily hidden in this way in his palm.

We tried to play this game at the game library, and we liked it so much (both children and adults) that the opinion was unequivocal - we must take it!

The age on the box is 10+, but as it turned out, my five-year-old daughter easily mastered the game. This is a light card filler (that's why even people who don't particularly welcome board games liked the game - it doesn't take much time, you don't need to go deep into thoughts). We often lay out a batch or two before bed. It is equally exciting to play both in the company of children and adults, but it is not recommended to play with more than 4 people - the game will end very quickly, there will be no way to collect something.

Cards are pirate trophies, there are 10 types of them (6 each), but each has its own cost (from 2 to 7).

The player lays out a number of cards from the deck, while performing the actions that each picture prescribes (take something from an opponent, peek at the next card in the deck, etc.). The goal is to put a certain number of cards in your cache (that is, on your edge of the table).

But as soon as a card comes across in the laid out row that is already present in it, the player loses all these trophies and sends the cards to the discard pile (that is, nothing was looted). Here, before opening each subsequent card, you need to decide whether to take a risk and, possibly, get more (cards and points at the end of the game) or not to chase the quantity, but it is guaranteed to put at least something in your cache (although the opponents will pull out of the cache can).

In the first games, I told Ksyusha what each picture means, now she remembers them all perfectly. Her strategy is to lay out long rows. Of course, it happens that she loses everything, but it happens that she is lucky, so cards accumulate in her cache rather quickly. Our winning percentage is about the same.

The game ends when the deck runs out. At the end of the game, players score on the cards in their stash. By the way, here's another example of an addition training game (far outside the top ten). So far, I consider myself a daughter (we learn to add only within 10), but then we will definitely use this aspect of the game.

The game can be made a little more difficult by introducing characters with additional properties (we don’t play like that with our daughter, she doesn’t like characters, apparently because it’s still difficult). This option is suitable for playing with children from 7 years old.

Characters are randomly selected by the players before the start of the game. Each of them allows the player to either take more cards or harm the opponents in some way (for example, one of the characters obliges the opponents to lay out 4 more cards (instead of two) after a certain card - the kraken, and this is an almost guaranteed failure of the raid, that is, the entire the laid out row is likely to go to the discard pile). For adults - nothing complicated, the main thing is not to forget about the property of your character and actively use it. The game becomes even more exciting (but it is desirable that there are more than two players, that is, 3 or 4, so it is more interesting).

And in conclusion, I note that the game is compact, you can take it with you on a visit, on vacation (although the box is too big, two such decks of cards will fit there). But playing "on the knee" will not work - in order to lay out cards and form caches, you need at least a small table.

My rating is excellent. Game time - 10-15 minutes. And the recommended age is from 5 years.

A card hidden in the palm of your hand

1. This technique involves you taking one or more cards from the top of the deck without the public seeing it, or just as discreetly adding them to the deck.

2. Holding the deck in your left hand, place your right hand on top as if you want to line up the cards. Now that the right hand is hiding the cards from the audience, with the thumb of the left hand, slightly push the top card to the right, so that the upper right corner of the card is firmly pressed against the upper knuckle of the little finger of the right hand. Now the thumb of the left hand can push the card into the right palm, and the second and third fingers can push the center of the card up so that it arches, following the contours of the palm, the bottom of the card will be against the pad of the thumb.

3. While the card rests comfortably in your palm, do not rush to remove your right hand. When removing the deck from under the right hand, continue to align the deck with the fingers of the right hand. Then begin to slowly move your right hand towards you, without showing the hidden card to the public, of course. If necessary, you can discreetly drop it into your pocket at a convenient moment.
